Alfonsa Lopez

Alfonsa Lopez, 86, of Bristol, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain.

Born in Dorado, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Alfonso Garcia and Domitila Saez and was a longtime resident of New Britain. Alfonsa enjoyed music, singing and dancing. Alfonsa especially loved spending time with her great great grandchildren.  Her family is very thankful for the care given to Alfonsa by Juniper Homecare.

She is survived by her children, Santo Otero of New Britain, Evelyn Otero of Puerto Rico, Josefina Guerrios of Bristol, Ana Osorio of Orlando, FL and Jose Otero of New Britain; her sister, Luz Roche; two brothers, Juan Garcia and Alfono Garcia; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was the widow of Ramon Lopez and was predeceased by a son Rigoberto Otero.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain.  Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024 from 6- 8 PM at the funeral home.
