William Lazar

William Lazar, 89, of New Britain, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2007. Born in New Britain, he lived in Yonkers, NY where he was self employed and where he worked for Habershaws Rug Factory. He was a US Army Veteran and returned to New Britain, where he spent most of his life. In New Britain, he was employed at Union Chuck and at New Britain Machine. Co. William is survived by a brother, Samuel Lazar of Watertown, CA; a son, William Lazar; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Lillian Santos and his wife, Victoria. A graveside service, with military honors, will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at Fairview Cemetery, New Britain. There are no calling hours.
