William Colon

William Colon, 61, of East Hartford, also known as “Chico”, died unexpectedly on March 24, 2017 at home.  Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Gregorio Colon and Alejandrina Rodriguez.   William was formerly employed at Stanley Works.

Surviving are a son, Gregory Colon and his wife Joi of Germantown, MD; three sisters, Antonia Ortiz, Angelica Acevedo, Hilda Jusino and a special brother-in-law Angel Jusino; two brothers, Angel Colon and Raymond Colon; three grandchildren, Jasmine Loren Colon, Aaron Angelo Colon, and Xavier Gregory; several nieces and nephews including Raul Rodriguez Acevedo Jr., and many grandnieces and grandnephews.

A memorial service and calling hours will be held Wednesday from 7-9 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.
