William "Bill" Elian

William Elian, 93, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing. He was predeceased by his wife, Jane (Fairbrother) Elian who passed away in 2023.

Bill was born in Mineola, New York on December 18, 1932 to the late William and Anna (Indof) Elian. He grew up in Philadelphia and later attended City College of New York, studying business in night school. Bill and Jane met at church in Flushing, NY and were married in 1958. They moved to Springfield in 1965, where Bill was employed by the Milton Bradley Company in the export department for over 20 years. He was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church where he was involved in many church activities including choir. He loved classic cars and model trains. Bill and Jane moved to Reeds Landing in 2012 and spent many happy years there.

Bill is survived by his sister, Ruth and her children and families.
