Wilbur Lee Hanford

Wilbur L. Hanford, 75, of New Britain, died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late George and Eva Westbath Hanford. He was a resident of New Britain most of his life and was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. Wilbur was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, a life member of the Aqualand Aquarium Society, and was an avid Rockcats fan. He is survived by his brother, Wayne Hanford of New Britain. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in West Lane Cemetery, Kensington. Memorial donations may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 69 Main St., New Britain, CT 06051. Erickson-Hansen Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
