Wesley Brian Frazier, Sr.

Wesley Brian Frazier Sr., 71, of Bristol, died Monday, Mar. 21, 2011 at the Pines at Bristol. Born in Meriden, he was the son of the late Clarence and Dorothy (Griffin) Frazier. He was a long time New Britain resident before moving to Bristol 25 years ago. He was a US Army Veteran. Wesley was formerly employed at Connecticut Wheel Chair. He was a Chess Master and was a member of West Haven Chess Club and a former member of New Britain Chess Club. He attended the United Pentecostal Church in Bristol. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Alma (Webster) Frazier; five children, Wesley B. Frazier Jr., Susan Faunce, Marshall Frazier, Timothy Frazier, and Vivian Frazier; two brothers, Raymond Frazier and Rodney Frazier; three sisters, Gail Rothe, Jackie, and Gwen Mettig; 13 grandchildren, Beth, Brian, Benjamin, Samuel, Seth, Ethan, Amber, Sarah, Tara, Hannah, Leah, Niomi, and Abby; and one great-grandchild, Obsidian, and one great-grandchild on the way. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial, with military honors, will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 6-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.
