Wenceslao Rodriguez

Wenceslao "Miguel" Rodriguez, 62, of New Britain, beloved husband of Julia Rodriguez for 42 years, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in San German, Puerto Rico, he was a New Britain resident since 1965 and was a member of St. Mary Church and the Puerto Rican Society. In addition to his wife Julia, he is survived by four daughters, Edna Lopez, Angie Rodriguez, Mildred Esposito, and Ruth Rodriguez; two sons, Miguel Rodriguez and Edgardo Rodriguez; three brothers, Eugenio Rodriguez, Bartlome Rodriguez, and Atanacio Rodriguez; two sisters, Carmen Rodriguez and Monserrate Rodriguez; three grandchildren, Nicholas Esposito, James Donnelly and Evan Donnelly; two nephews, Ivan Rodriguez and Ramon Torres; and several close family friends including Jose Pinero and Aida Cancel and Biagio D'Anna. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Friday from 6-9 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross, Haiti Relief Fund.
