Walter W. Wallace

Walter William Wallace, 82, of Kensington, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017 at the Hospital of Central CT.

Born in Newington, he was the son of the late Walter J. Wallace and Louise (Duffin) Wallace.  Walter was a Kensington resident most of his life and was a U.S. Army Veteran.   He was formerly employed as a draftsman and engineer at Forkhart and was a member of the VFW Post 10732.

Surviving are a daughter, Pamela Cavallaro and her husband Christopher of Clinton; a son, Stephen Wallace and his wife Cynthia of Avon, ME; two grandchildren, Alexa and Vanessa; and his close friend, Carol Naples, and his niece, Ellen Calderone of Kensington.  He was predeceased by his wife,  Leona (Snetro) Wallace.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 12:30 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.  Burial, with military honors, will be in South Burying Ground, Kensington.  Calling hours are Monday morning from 11 AM until the time of the service.
