Walter Radziszewski, Jr., 73, of New Britain, died Wednesday at New Britain General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Marjorie Bocskay Radziszewski. Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Walter and Stefania Zmitruk Radziszewski. He was a life long New Britain resident. Walter was a US Army veteran, serving in the Korean conflict. He was a carpenter retiring from New Britain General Hospital in 1989. Walter was a member of First Church of Christ Congregational where he was a former Deacon. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed spending time at the New Britain Senior Center. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons and daughters in law, Walter Radziszewski III and his wife Angela, Francis and Vera Radziszewski, his daughter and son in law, Susan and David Anderson, all of New Britain, his sister, Frances Roulliard of Plainville, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Anna Haluschak. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 am at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain and at 11:00 am at First Church of Christ Congregational, 830 Corbin Ave., New Britain. Burial with Military Honors will be held in St. Mary Cemetery.
