Violet Mooradian

Violet A. (Sharrow) Mooradian, 81, of Simsbury, CT passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital. She was the beloved widow of Charles P. Mooradian. Violet was born in Moriah, NY on April 11, 1932. She is survived by her sister Jane Anderson of Milaca, MN; her brothers and sisters- in-law, Sonia Ohanian and Oscar and Margaret Moradian all of New Britain, and Mike and Margaret Maroun of Paterson, NJ. She is also survived many devoted nieces and nephews. Violet was predeceased by her sisters, Fern Shaefer and Helen Sharrow. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 11:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. A calling hour will be held Friday morning from 10:30 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Armenian Church of the Holy Resurrection, 1910 Stanley St., New Britain, CT 06053.
