Velma Lorain Brown, age 105, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2026 with her daughter by her side. She is the mother to Gerri Brown Springer and LaTonya Brown Thompson. Funeral services for Velma will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 10 AM at St. Matthew Church, 8601 Wade Park Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio. She will be laid to rest next to her husband. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, New Britain is in charge of arrangements.
