Tina Gomes

Tina (Anderson) Gomes, 72, of Burlington, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Hartford Hospital.

Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Hugo and Edith (Peterson) Anderson.  Tina was a former New Britain resident and was formerly employed at Mortgage Assistant Company.  Tina enjoyed spending time at the lake, bowling, playing scrabble and bingo with her friends at the Burlington Senior Center.

Surviving are her son, Hugo Gomes and his wife Celena of Burlington; her daughter, Wendy Gomes; six grandchildren, Danielle, Nicole, James, Lindsey, Jennae, and Gianna; 4 great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Anthony, Agelise and Aiden; cherished cousins, nieces and nephews, and many friends including Maryelen, who was like a sister to Tina.  She was predeceased by her dear sister, Pamela Sidoti.
