Timothy Merrill Wright

Timothy Merrill Wright, 66, of Berlin, husband of Cheryl (Langdon) Wright, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013 at the Veterans Medical Center in West Haven. Born in Coronado, CA, he was the son of the late Hardy Barrett Owens and Elizabeth (Carter) Owens. He was a former resident of Farmington before moving to Berlin five years ago. Timothy was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a self employed construction worker. Surviving are his wife, Cheryl Wright; two daughters, Wendy Wright, and Heather Boyd and her husband Jason; and three grandchildren, Amelia Ferrell, Ethan Boyd, and Daniel Boyd. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 10 AM at Berlin Congregational Church. Burial, with military honors, will be in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain. There are no calling hours.
