Thomas Hamera

Thomas, the Hammer, Hamera, 75, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on July 19, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Tom spent many years as a steel worker before retiring. He loved to golf, play pool, and have a beer with his son and the many friends at the Spartans Club in Kensington and Saint Joseph’s in Bristol. Tom was always full of life, laughing and teasing those around him. He loved his family, friends, and would do anything for them.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, his daughter Melissa, his sons Mark and Kyle, his three step daughters Gerri, Bobbi, Angela, a plethora of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and his sisters, Elizabeth and Barbra. He is predeceased by his parents Ignacy and Jadwiga Hamera.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Saint Joseph's Polish Society, 88 East Main Street, Bristol, CT 06010, from 1 to 5 p.m.
