Theodore T. Wish, Sr.

Theodore "Ted" Wish, Sr., 86, of Berlin, passed away on Thursday at the Hospital of Central CT, New Britain. He was the widower of Lillian (Rembilas) Wish. Born in PA, he was the son of the late Bruno and Pearl Wishnefski. Ted was a US Army veteran of WW II. He was a Berlin resident most of his life, moving to Newport, NC for a short time before he returned to Berlin in 2005. Ted worked as a Foreman at Stanley Works for 40 years. He also owned and worked, with his wife, at Grinderland of Berlin. He attended Sacred Heart Church, East Berlin. Ted will be truly missed and remembered as a loving father, grandfather and loyal friend. Surviving are his two sons and daughters-in-law, Fred A. and Lynne Wish of East Berlin, Theodore T. Wish, Jr. and his wife Tammy of Woodstock, his daughter and son-in-law Sheila J. and Richard Potter of NC, his grandchildren, Kevin Wish, Amanda Wish, Christopher and Scott Tomassi, his great grandchildren, Joshua, Taylor, Patricia Tomassi. He also leaves behind Stella St. Cyr, Steve Daniw and Sharlene Stewart, who were more than his best friends, as well as many special friends too numerous to list, at Sage Pond Place where he resided for the past several years and loved playing cards and calling Bingo. He also leaves behind Joann Lichte, a special friend in Wisconsin.Ted was predeceased by his sister Dolores Ouellette. Private funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
