Tanya Marie (Scollo) Chiaravalloti, 32, of Wolcott, died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Yale-New Haven Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Meriden, she was a long time Waterbury resident before moving to Wolcott. Tanya was employed as a customer account representative at UTC Fire and Security. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, spending time with her son and family. Surviving are her husband, Vincenzo Chiaravalloti; her son, Matteo Chiaravalloti; her mother, Donna (McMahon) Lantieri of Meriden; three sisters, Michelle (Scollo) Boucher and her husband of Maine, Rebecca (Scollo) DiMaria and her husband Thomas of Oakville, and Bobbi June Ball of Meriden; her grandfather, Sebastian Scollo Sr. of New Britain; her mother-in-law, Connie Sinopoli; nieces and nephews, Nathan and Sara Boucher, Devin Mattie, and Giada DiMaria; and many aunts, uncles and cousins in the Sinopoli, McMahon and Scollo families. She was predeceased by her father, Sebastian Scollo, Jr., and by her grandparents, Shirley Scollo, June and William McMahon. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St., New Britain. A calling hour will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Wilcox Cemetery, East Berlin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Matteo's Fund, @ TD Bank, c/o the funeral home.
