Susan Maria Thompson

Susan Maria Perry Thompson, 51, of New Britain passed away on Friday September 10, 2010 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. Born in New Bedford, MA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Yvonne Lampkin Perry. Susan was a New Britain resident most of her life and enjoyed her many volunteer hours helping people by applying biblical study in whatever way she could. Surviving are her three sons, Torrence, Travis and Isaiah Conaway, all of New Britain, two daughters, Tashara Conaway of Hartford and Tionna Conaway of Newington, two brothers, Steven and Anthony Perry, both of New Britain, two sisters, Nina and Kimekio Perry, both of New Britain, one grandchild, Jaleah Cross, two aunts, Rachine Palmer of Newington and Sharon Payne of New Britain and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be on Friday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
