Stella Frasca

Stella Frasca, 86 years old, of West Hartford, CT passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021 in Farmington, CT. She was predeceased by her loving husband Natale Frasca.

Born in Gioiosa Ionica, Calabria, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Francesco Fuda and Maria Theresa (Mesite) Fuda.  Stella was a West Hartford resident for the past 60 years and was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church.

Anyone who knew Stella would agree she was a firecracker and the life of any party. She lived her life to the fullest, never missing a moment to break out in song and dance, her favorites being classic Italian music and Elvis Presley. She loved to cook, play Italian cards, garden and go to the beach. She loved to vacation, especially to Florida in the winter and trips to the old country as well. She was energetic, fun to be around, loving, and generous. She touched many people’s lives and will be missed greatly.

Stella is survived by her loving children, Silvana Sawicki and her husband Henry, Carlo Frasca, Loretta Lynn Small, Joseph Frasca and his fiancée, Lori Amundson; four grandchildren, Michelle Small and her fiancé Brandon Martin, Jennifer Sparks and her husband Ben, Ryan Terdjanian, and Shannon Frasca; and a great-grandson, Colton Sparks.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 10 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in West Hartford. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, New Britain, is in charge of arrangements.
