Stanley F. Siton, 93, of New Britain, passed away on Sunday in Westerly, RI. He was the husband of the late Lydia Peplau Siton. Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Walenty and Katherine (Trznadel) Siton. Stanley was a life-long New Britain resident. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WW II. Stanley was employed at the former Caval Tool and Machine Company in Newington, retiring 30 years ago. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church and a charter member of the Northwestern TGM Post. Surviving are his daughter Sharon DePerry and her husband Peter of Westerly, RI; his brother Joseph Siton of Plantsville; two grandsons, Douglas DePerry and his wife Carin, Brian DePerry and his fiancé Kelly Delay, all of New Jersey; a great granddaughter, Anna DePerry; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Stanley was predeceased by his brother, Francis Siton, and by two sisters, Sally Sutak and Ann "Mickey" Vater. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial, with Military Honors, will be in Fairview Cemetery. A calling hour will be Wednesday morning from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
