Stanley L. Rogala, of New Britain, CT and Crawfordville, FL, passed away Sept. 4, 2005 surrounded by his loving family and was reunited with his beloved wife, Elvira Dagata Rogala, who predeceased him on April 18, 1994. Born on Mar. 17, 1924, he was the son of the late Ludwik and Emilia Rogala. He was formerly employed as a machinist, and worked at Ajax Screw Machine and Winslow Automatics before retiring. Stanley was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing with his grandsons. Surviving are two loving daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Stephen Wicke of New Britain, Roberta and Blaine Blalock of Crawfordville, FL; a brother, Chester Rogala of Southington; five grandchildren, Charles Turner III his wife Colleen, Carolyn Turner, Bobby Turner, Thomas Turner, and Stephen Wicke; a great-grandson, Charles Chase Turner IV; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant son, Robert, and by six brothers and sisters, Alexander, Gladys, Jennie, Walter, Theodore, and Edward. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept 17, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
