Solveig Phillips

Solveig Phillips, 39, of Southington, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003. Born in Middletown, she was a New Britain resident before moving to Southington last year. She was formerly employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Surviving are two sons, Joseph M. Montanez and Michael Phillips, and two daughters, Jessica Santana and Danielle Phillips, all of New Britain; her mother, Nidia Cruz of FL; her father Justo Montanez of Puerto Rico; her former husband, Daniel Phillips of New Britain; two brothers, Justo Montanez, Jr. and John Montanez, both of FL; four sisters, Sandra Montanez of New Britain, Silvia Montanez, Yaxaira Rodriguez, and Jeanette Ruperto, all of FL; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 10:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St, New Britain. Calling hours will be Tuesday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
