Sixta Reyes Ramos

Sixta Reyes Ramos, a long time resident of New Britain, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2015 surrounded by her loved ones. She was abeloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and was predeceased by her husband and the love of her life Juan Reyes, Sr. Sixta is survived by her sons, Juan Jr., Robert, Ramon & wife Jaime , David &wife Tanya; and by her daughter Elizabeth &husband Mark Olson. Sixta is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sixta was a proud mother, grandmother and a true friend. She welcomed everyone into her home with open arms. Sixta loved nothing more than to have a chat or a laugh with anyone who had the time to sit and enjoy her DELICIOUS cup of coffee. Many thanks to everyone who cared and supported Sixta, especially to the health care professionals, family, friends and neighbors who kept her company and always ready to help when needed. It is greatly appreciated and will not be forgotten. Sixta has been called to be with her heavenly father along with family and friends who have been waiting for her. Always remember Sixta when you see pink roses, which were her favorite flowers. You can honor Sixta by remembering her favorite quote: Be kind to one another! We will miss you. Bendicion Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 3 PM at South Church, 90 Main St. Calling hours are Tuesday at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St., from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
