Scott Gerlander

Scott Gerlander, 69, of New Britain, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Touchpoints at Farmington.

Scott was born in New Britain to the late Alf and Naomi Gerlander.  He is survived by his sister Dale, a niece and nephew and several cousins.

Scott was a graduate of New Britain High School and was formerly employed for many years at Lehrer’s Hardware in New Britain and A.H. Harris in Newington.  The family wishes to thank his care team at Touchpoints for all their support.

Scott will miss all his racing friends and their trips to Stafford Motor Speedway, Indy-500, Epping, NH and Block Island.  Thanks to Billy and Fred for your many visits with cookies and chocolates.

Private funeral services will be held for family members.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain.
