Our beloved brother Scott Coleman Andrews departed this life on June 26, 2014 at his home in Washington D.C. He was born May 19, 1962 to William Henry Brewton and the late Charlene Marie Andrews in New Britain Ct. Scott was the eldest child of three children. Scott studied Food Service and graduated from E.C. Goodwin Technical High School June 1980. He attended Central Connecticut University where he became a campus disc jockey known as "Scottie D". Scott relocated to Washington D.C, and became a member of the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall Congregation. Scott loved his family, He was always happy. He never complained and always accepted whatever you gave him to do. Scott will be remembered by family and friends as a kind person who loved a good laugh, the Dallas Cowboys, and a Capitol Lunch hotdog. Scott leaves to cherish his memories, his father William Henry Brewton (Las Vegas NV), one sister Brandi Andrews (Newington Ct), one brother William Andrews (Unionville Ct), one nephew Joshua Andrews Kidd (Newington Ct), Special Uncle and Mentor Mustafa Chavis, Special friend Tracie Randolph, brothers by love: Richard Leonard, Charles Moore, Mark Washington, and sister by love Shannon Pope, plus a host of Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins as well a host of loving and supportive family members and friends. Scott was predeceased by his, Grandparents Charles Andrews, Helen Scott, Coleman Scott, Lucious Brewton and Mattie Ann Coleman Brewton. Calling hours and funeral services will be held on Monday from 4-7 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.
