Ruth Frances Steiner

OBITUARY: Ruth F. Steiner Ruth Frances Steiner, 86, of Berlin, died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2002 at New Britain General Hospital. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Marie Petzner Steiner. She was a former New Britain resident before moving to Berlin 35 years ago. Ruth was formerly employed as a buyer for W.T. Grant Co. for 35 years before retiring. She was a member of the Berlin Congregational Church, the Berlin Senior Citizens, and the AARP Surviving are several cousins including Debra Dorio and Evelyn Brown, both of Southington, Sandra Fuoco of Higannum, Noreen Addis of Newington, and Ted Bjorklund of Berlin. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Maple Cemetery. Calling hours will be Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Memorial donations may be made to Berlin Congregational Church or the Berlin Volunteer Fire Dept.
