Ruth Carlson Paulson, 95, widow of G. Raymond Paulson, died peacefully on Sunday, October 1, 2006 at Ridgeview Healthcare Center in Cromwell. Born January 16, 1911 in Meriden, she spent most of her life in New Britain before moving to Farmington upon retiring as a Sales Correspondent from Fafnir Bearing Company. Ruth is survived by two daughters, Karin Vieira and her husband Ernest of New Britain, and Barbara Danielson and her husband David of Columbus, Ohio; three grandchildren, Steven Vieira and his wife Laura, and their children Melissa , Richard and Bryan; Sarah D. Winkley and her husband Joshua; and John Danielson. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Robin V. Worthington and is also survived by Robin's husband Kevin Worthington. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 12:30 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St. New Britain. Burial will be in West Lane Cemetery Kensington at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Central Connecticut, 205 West Main St., New Britain, CT 06052 or to the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Ave., Meriden, CT 06450.
