Ruth Blankenburg

Ruth (Hoffmann) Blankenburg, 87, of Windsor, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015. She was the widow of Earl "Don" Blankenburg. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Gustaff and Mary (Nichisti) Hoffmann. Ruth was a New Britain resident before moving to Windsor in 1964. She was a lover of dogs and cats, especially her cat Autumn. Ruth will be missed. Surviving are her brother, George Hoffmann and his wife Anneliese of Bristol; and a nephew, Brian Hoffmann of New Britain. Also surviving are her close friends, Chuck and Cheryl Pelkey. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
