Rose Seipel

Rose Seipel, 95, formerly of New Britain, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Apple Rehabilitation Center in Cromwell. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Carrie (Cwittlinger) Seipel. She was a long time New Britain resident and was formerly employed at Landers Frary and Clark in New Britain. She was a member of St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church. Surviving are her niece's husband, Arvid Ritchie of Kensington; two grandnephews, Stephen Ritchie and Robert Ritchie, both of Kensington; and two great-grandnieces, Michelle Amanda Ritchie and Taylor Michelle Ritchie. She was predeceased by her niece, Doris Ritchie. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday from 5-7 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.
