Rose Catherine Bosco

Rose Catherine Giliberto Bosco, 83, of Southington, widow of Peter Bosco, died Sunday, March 2, 2008 at the Hospital of Central CT at New Britain General. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Vincenza Giliberto. Rose was a former New Britain resident, moving to Southington ten years ago. She was a former member of St. Ann's Church. Surviving are her son, James J. Bosco and his wife Maureen of Simsbury; two daughters, Rosemarie Cianci of Southington and Patricia McCormack and her husband Raymond, also of Southington; eleven grandchildren and their spouses, Kevin and Dianne Bosco, Keith and Amy Bosco, Brenda and Long Hoang, Laurie and Paul Bernadone , Gina and Michael Pellrine, Debbie and Billy Wells, Dina Cianci, Heather and Dan Perkins, Ryan McCormack, Christine Cantino and Michelle Bosco; twenty great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Peter Bosco, Jr. Calling hours are Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St., New Britain. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in the State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 350 Church St., Hartford, CT 06103.
