Rosa H. Ortiz

Rosa H. Ortiz, 44, of New Britain, passed away on Monday, Feb. 13, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain.  Born in Puerto Rico, she was a New Britain resident most of her life.

Surviving are five children, Enoc Caraballo, Juan Ortiz, Esther Ortiz, Mayleen Ortiz, and Cristalee Hernandez; her mother Anastacia Delgado; her sisters and brother, Evie Reyes, Anita Caraballo, and Isaac Caraballo; and three grandchildren, Kayden, Avayahrose and Jaylen; and by three nieces, Aliyah, Destiny, and Jyanni.   She was predeceased by her father, Manuel Reyes.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.   Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
