Rosa Maria Martinez

Rosa Maria Martinez was 41 years old, born on July 21st, 1982.  She was born and raised in New Britain CT.  It's with great sadness to announce Rosa passed away on September 12, 2023.  She is predeceased by her father, Angel Martinez; brother, Angel Martinez; grandmother, Guillemina Diaz; and cousin, Kenny Vasquez. She is survived by her children, Nico Davis, and Jazaih Bond; mother, Sonia Homar; aunts and uncles, Ana Luz Martinez, Marilyn Martinez, Iris Diaz, Wilfredo Diaz, Julio Diaz, Jose Diaz, Geary Overby, David Martinez, and Ruben Ortiz; cousins, Anita Green, David Green, and Danny Vazquez; second cousins, Elijah Green, Morgan Green, Elan Green, Serenity Green, Naya Vazquez, and Alyzae Vazquez.

Also surviving from the Homar side of the family are her mother, Sonia Homar; and Godmother, Maria Homar. She was pre-deceased by her grandmother, Juana Homar; aunts and uncles, Gladyse Devalle, Lucy Homar, Nilsa Suarez, and Freddy Homar; cousins, Minerva Cardona, Beronica Cardona, Liza Johnson, Lisa Suarez, Jr Devalle, Luis Velez, and Jesus Correa; and a host of other family members.

Funeral services and calling hours will be on Sunday, Oct, 1st, 6pm-8pm, and on Monday, Oct 2, from 10 am to12 pm held at Erickson and Hansen, 411 S. Main St, New Britain. Pastor will open service with prayer and scripture, Eulogy of Rosa's life and congregation with family and friends in remembrance of our beloved Rosa. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
