It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roberto “Quiti” Soto, a cherished son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Roberto passed away on April 30th, 2023, at the age of 61, in Southington, CT.
Born on May 16th, 1961, in New Britain, CT, Roberto was the son of Reinaldo "Cabito" Soto and Olivia Soto. He grew up in a large family of ten siblings, with whom he shared a strong bond that remained unbreakable throughout his life. He loved visiting his mother and spending time with his loved ones. Roberto's magnetic personality and zest for life made him a joy to be around. He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, showing unwavering passion for the team.
Roberto is survived by his beloved mother, Olivia Soto, his children, his grandchildren, his ten siblings: Carmen, Reinaldo Jr., Angel, Edwin, Noel, Mariann, Ralph, Gladys, Elizabeth, Jose and numerous nieces and nephews. We find solace in knowing that Roberto is now reunited with his father, Reinaldo (Cabito), and his grandmother, Mita, in heaven, where he is surrounded by eternal love and peace.
Roberto’s legacy will live on as a fun-loving, caring man, who touched the lives of many. His absence will be felt deeply by his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
A ceremony honoring Roberto's memory will take place on Tuesday, May 9th, 2023, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, located at 411 S Main Street, New Britain, CT 06051. Subsequently, the burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery, located at 120 Smalley Street, New Britain, CT 06051.
