Roberto A. Perez

Roberto A. Perez, 70, of New Britain, husband of Iris Marta Perez, died peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006 at the Hospital of Central Conn. Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Florentino Perez and Alejandrina Bermudez. He was a New Britain resident since 1956 and was formerly employed at Stanley Works and at Colt Metal Products before retiring. He was a member of St. Mary Church and the Puerto Rican Social Club. In addition to his wife Iris, he is survived by a son Robert Perez Jr and his wife Carmen.; a brother, Raymond Perez, four sisters, Carmen Camacho, Olga Gonzalez, Juanita Sanchez, and Incarnacion Perez; two grandchildren who were his pride and joy, Alejandro and Adrianna; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Mary Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday morning from 8:30 am to 9:30 am at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain.
