Robert Torres

Robert “Bob” Torres, 60, of Glastonbury, passed away on Monday, Nov. 27, 2023.

Born in Cidra, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Hipolito Torres and Luisa D. (Calvillo) Torres.  Bob was a resident of East Hartford most of his life and was formerly employed as a security officer at Alexandria Manor.  He was a fan of the New England Patriots, New York Yankees, and the Boston Celtics and enjoyed NASCAR Racing.

Surviving are his daughter, Amanda Maria Torres; his siblings, Rosa Torres, Edwin Torres and his wife Milagros Torres, Myrna L. Sanabria and her husband Luis A. Sanabria, Lourdes Sanchez and her husband Alex Sanchez; his Godson, Isaiah Albert; his Goddaughter, Desiree Cooper; his companion, Rosanne Major; and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother, Samuel Torres.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM with a funeral service starting at 12:30 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
