Robert E. Seaburg

Robert E. Seaburg, 85, of Chester CT, beloved husband of Dale (Ray) Seaburg, died unexpectedly on May 18, 2018 at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Bob was born in New Britain on Jan. 13, 1933 and was the son of Everett and Estelle (Carlson) Seaburg.  He joined the Navy and served in the Korean War.  Bob met his wife Dale , the love of his life for 59 years, and had four beautiful children, Glenn, Lori, Diane and Debra, who were raised in Kensington.  Bob and Dale later moved to Glastonbury, spending summers in Chester and winters in Tavares, Florida.

Bob co-owned and operated Able Coil & Electronics in Bolton, CT.  Bob spent a large portion of his life involved in the Masonic Fraternity, where he made many life long friends.  He was a 60 year member and Past Master of Centennial Lodge #118, Past Potentate of Sphinx Temple Shrine, and Past Grand Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star.  Bob enjoyed dancing, golfing, vacationing in Maine, and most of all, spending time with his family and friends.

Bob leaves behind his wife, Dale (Ray) Seaburg; a son, Glenn Seaburg (Jennifer) of Maryland; his daughters Lori Cobb (Bill) of Chester, Diane Carlson (Rico Soave) of Illinois, and Debra Ouimette (Rob) of Maine; five grandchildren, Hilary Mondelci, Heather Cobb, Jack and Lucas Ouimette, and David Seaburg; and two great-grandchildren, Cooper Mondelci and Makayla Zenisky.  Also surviving are a sister, Cheryl Johnson (Timothy) of Kensington and a brother, Elwood Seaburg (Alma) of Tavares Florida.  He was predeceased by a brother, Everett Seaburg Jr.
