Rev. Robert A. Santeusanio

Rev. Robert A. "Bob" Santeusanio, 64, of Wethersfield, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 12, 2014. He was the husband of the late Carol (Hughes) Santeusanio. Born in Newark, N.J., he was the son of Peter Santeusanio Sr. and the late Dolores Halleck Paradise. He was a former Newington resident before moving to Wethersfield 19 years ago. Pastor Bob was an Assemblies of God Minister, and was the Pastor of Calvary Christian Center in New Britain for 20 years. He was intensely involved in Gatekeepers, which was active in a vision to unite the many religious leaders across all denominations in the New Britain region. He was also active in an organization called Purpose, a group dedicated to bridge the gap across age, race, and denominational lines. Pastor Bob was an accomplished violinist and enjoyed sharing his musical gift with others. Surviving are a daughter, Cara Michelle Troutman, husband David and their children, Justine, Joshua, and Jordanna of Crawfordsville, IN; a son, Tyrone "Ty" Scott Santeusanio, wife Erin, and children Ellie and Aria of Kansas City, MO; his father and mother, Peter Santeusanio Sr. and Mary Santeusanio of Orlando, FL; his sisters, Veronica Santeusanio, Linda McCoy and Laurie Van Dyke, all of Orlando, FL; a brother, Peter Santeusanio Jr. of Caldwell, Idaho; and a half-brother, Johnny Paradise of Phoenix, MD. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Wellspring Church, 222 Lincoln St., Kensington. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.
