Robert Peter Eshoo

Robert Peter Eshoo, 71, of New Britain, passed away peacefully on Monday, Aug. 14, 2023 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain.  Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Baba and Youlia (Jeramiah) Eshoo.  He was a life long New Britain resident and was a U.S. Army Veteran.  Robert loved watching old movies, trips to the casino, and had a passion for food and cooking.  He was formerly employed as a truck driver before retiring.

Surviving are his loving companion and sweetheart of 17 years, Lori Catullo; his son, Robert Eshoo Jr. and his wife Sarah; three brothers, Peter Eshoo and his wife Barbara, Benjamin Eshoo and his wife Deborah, and John Eshoo; two grandchildren, Olivia Eshoo and Brianna Eshoo; and his nieces and nephews, Michael Eshoo, Samantha Eshoo, Alex Eshoo, and Rebecca Eshoo.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Nicholas Eshoo, and by a brother, Joseph Eshoo.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.  Calling hours will be on Friday from 9 AM until the time of the service and then following the service until 11 AM.
