Robert H. Drake

Robert H. Drake, 68, of Kensington, died Monday, March 17, 2003 after a 4 year courageous battle with cancer. Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Frank and Nettie Riggott Drake. He was a Kensington resident most of his life and was a member of the East Berlin United Methodist Church. He was an avid sports fan and followed the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. Robert treasured his family, and especially the little children. He will be greatly missed. Surviving are a brother, Richard Drake of Madison; two sisters, Juanita Nita Chojnicki of Kensington and Katherine Vincent of Cheshire; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, greatnieces and greatnephews. Funeral services will held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
