OBITUARY: Rita M. Waluk Rita Margaret Kreft Waluk, 78, of Kensington, died unexpectedly at home on Sunday, April 25, 2004. She was the widow of Stanley Waluk. Born in Athens Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Cyril and Catherine Schmidt Kreft. She was a Kensington resident for over 55 years and was formerly employed at the former Chandler Evans Co. She was a member of St. Paul's Church. Rita loved her family dearly. She enjoyed talking to her family in Wisconsin and spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bingo. Surviving are her beloved daughter, Clarice Pelkey and her husband Gregory of Kensington; two loving grandchildren, Gregory Pelkey Jr. and Jeffrey Pelkey and his wife Kristen; two sisters, Vivian Mroczenski of Abbotsford, WI and Joyce Ann Kreft of Chicago, IL; a brother, Donald Kreft of Athens WI; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her younger brother, Gerome Kreft. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Paul's Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain. Calling hours are Tuesday evening from 5-8 PM.
