Richard Bryan Stabile

Richard Bryan Stabile of Wethersfield, CT, died August 3, 2011. Born May 21, 1951, he was the son of the late Gabriel Stabile and Sylvia Conragan of Naples FL and Brewster, MA. He attended and graduated from Belmont High School in Massachusetts and was a graduate of Nasson College in Springvale, ME. He was employed for many years at the New Britain General Hospital. Richard loved and played many sports, including tennis and golf, and particularly enjoyed playing ice hockey. In his later years, he spent much of his leisure time riding his motorcycles and was a careful rider. Unfortunately, he skidded one early morning and the bike fell on him shattering his ribs. He survived for one week. Richard will be sadly missed by his family and brothers, Kenneth Stabile of Charleston, SC, and David Stabile of Windsor CT. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
