Richard Harry Hutchins

Richard Harry Hutchins, 81, of New Britain, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. He was the husband of Winifred (Frain) Hutchins. Born in Fairfield, ME, he was the son of the late Harry and Thelma (Arris) Hutchins. He was a New Britain resident for over 45 years and was formerly employed at New Britain Machine Co. He was a member of Stanley Memorial Fountain of Life Church. Surviving are his loving wife, Winifred Hutchins; a son, David Hutchins and his wife Mariana; two step children, Steven Anders and Christine Anders; a sister, Dorothy DeRosier and her husband Don; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 12:15 pm at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 11 AM until the time of the service at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.
