Rene M. Infantas

Rene Infantas, 59, of Hartford, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Hartford Hospital with his family by his side.

Born in Lima, Perú on December 28, 1965, he was the son of the late German Infantas Grego and the late Maria Antonieta Minaya Cordero. Rene was the owner of Diamond I Auto Store, he was a creative and smart businessman. He loved spending time with his family and friends and brought happiness and laughter everywhere he went.

Rene is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Jamie Infantas and his dear brother, Arnaldo Infantas. He is survived by his son Alex Infantas and his brothers Jose Luis, Oscar, Enrique and Ruben. Lastly, he is survived by his many grandchildren that love him dearly.

Rene was most known for his jokes and always leaving a smile on everyone's face. He was always the one that made everyone in the room laugh. Rene always lived life to the fullest. He truly held such a special place in his loved one's hearts. He will be dearly missed.

Calling hours and funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 5-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain, CT.

Rene Infantas, de 59 años, de Hartford, falleció el domingo 12 de enero de 2025 en el Hartford Hospital con su familia a su lado.

Nacido en Lima, Perú, el 28 de diciembre de 1965, era hijo del difunto Infantas Grego y de la difunta María Antonieta Minaya Cordero. René era el propietario de Diamond I Auto Store, era un hombre de negocios creativo e inteligente. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos y traía felicidad y risas a todos los lugares a los que iba.

René es precedido en la muerte por su querida hija, Jamie Infantas, y su querido hermano, Arnaldo Infantas. Le sobreviven su hijo Alex Infantas y sus hermanos José Luis, Oscar, Enrique y Rubén. Por último, le sobreviven sus muchos nietos que lo aman mucho.

René era más conocido por sus bromas y siempre por dejar una sonrisa en la cara de todos. Él siempre era el que hacía reír a todos en la sala. René siempre vivió la vida al máximo. Realmente tenía un lugar tan especial en los corazones de su ser querido. Se le echará mucho de menos.
