Raysheen Davis

Raysheen Amber Davis, 37, of Bristol passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 after a long battle with COVID-19. Raysheen was born in New Britain and was the daughter of Charles E. and Carolyn (Earls) Davis. She loved helping others in any way she could, and with this passion for others she settled her career with becoming a nurse.

In addition to her parents, Raysheen is survived by her four children: Ashaunti Vega, Xavier Smith, Daieizha Hill and Malachi Hill; and her sister: Shunda Gray (Damian). She is predeceased by her two brothers: Jason E. Davis and Charles M. Davis. She also leaves to mourn her loss beloved niece Eilanna Dignazio-Davis, special friend Jackie Rutledge, her fur baby “Prince”, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Walk through calling hours will take place on Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 5PM – 6 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.

In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to be given on behalf of her children to a GoFundMe titled “Raising Raysheens Survivors”.

Full CDC Guidelines will be followed with regards to the following:

• Temperature checks prior to entering
• Hand sanitizing
• Face Masks to be worn at all times covering both the nose and the mouth. No gaiters or scarfs.

We also request that due to the current rise in COVID cases and in an effort to best protect everyone present, that all refrain from hugging, kissing, shaking hands, or any other personal contact with one another.
