Raymond Joseph Lucien Giroux

Raymond Joseph Lucien Giroux, 78, of New Britain, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011 at the Hospital of Central CT. Born in Val d'Espoir, Quebec, Canada, he was the son of the late Gedeon Giroux and Marie-Ann Lessard Giroux. He was a resident of New Britain for over 50 years and was formerly employed as a machinist at Fenn Manufacturing in Newington. He was a long time bowler at Laurel Lanes in Plainville. Surviving are his children, Gerald Giroux and his wife Monica, Priscilla Giroux, all of Summerside, P.E.I., and Gordon Giroux of Dawson Creek, B.C.; a brother, Bertrand Giroux in Connecticut; a sister Rita of Quebec; and eight grandchildren, Jenna, Brady, Bethany, Jordan, Max, Marley, Abbey, and Ali.
