Raymond William Graziano

Raymond William "Dody" Graziano, 92, of Berlin, died peacefully on Friday, June 23, 2006. He was the husband of the late Clara DiSarro Graziano. Born in Berlin, he was the son of the late Mario and Louisa Grassi Graziano and was a life-long Berlin resident. He was well known as the former owner of Clarays Seafood Market, and was a member of St. Paul's Church, the Italian Fraternal Club and the Power Squadron. Surviving are two daughters, Raye Graziano of Wethersfield and Anne Bjorkland of South Windsor; a sister-in-law, Eleanor Cayer of Kensington; six nieces including Tige Cayer of Kensington, Lida Huggins of Middlefield, Robin Kelly of Newington, Jill Sluzarski of Narragansett, RI, Alicia Woodruff of Kensington, Jerris Lesko of S. Norwalk; and two nephews, Gary Graziano of Plantsville, and Barry Cayer of Kensington. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Edward Graziano of Kensington and a sister Delia Halloran of Norwalk. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in West Lane Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Visiting Nurses Association.
