Randy Friedmann, 58, of New Britain, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 at the Hospital of Central CT. Born in Southington, he was a resident of Chaplin and New Britain most of his life. He was the owner of Friedmann Restoration and was employed at Lowes in Manchester. Randy loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and the NRA. Surviving are two children, Scott M. Friedmann of Hampton and Jennifer Kasacek and her husband Cory of Canterbury; his parents, Raymond and Bertha (Eza) Friedmann of New Britain; a brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Liz Friedmann of Berlin; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Terrance Barr of Bellevue WA, Nancy and Michael Balinskas of East Berlin, and Krisie Friedmann of New Britain; his former wife, Paula Friedmann; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Bethany Lutheran Church, Court St., Cromwell, CT. There are no calling hours. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, New Britain, is assisting the family with arrangements.
