Ramon Sanchez

Ramon Sanchez, 78, of New Britain, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 12, 2013 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of Ramon Soto and Georgina Sanchez. He was a New Britain resident for over 50 years and was formerly employed at Fafnir Bearing Co. He attended Valley Baptist Church in Avon. Surviving are his children, Ramon Sanchez, Arleen Sanchez, Mark Sanchez, Ronnie Sanchez, Lourdes Sanchez, Grisel Crespo, Lisa Gonzalez, Damaris Rodriguez, and Olga Padilla; many brothers and sisters; many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Gloria Sanchez. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday (today) from 7-9 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St. New Britain. Funeral services and burial will take place in Puerto Rico.
