Rafael Perez

Rafael Perez, 87, of Hartford died Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Hartford Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Ramona Marquez Perez. Born in Cidra, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Romualdo and Vicenta Rosado Perez. Rafael served in the sixty-fifth infantry division of the U.S Army during World War II. He was a member of Faith Temple Assembly of God in Hartford. In addition to his wife, Rafael is survived by three sons, Humberto Perez of Bridgeport, Rene Medina of Hartford, Vicente Medina of Puerto Rico, four daughters, Doris Medina of Wethersfield, Rhona Rodriguez, Gladys Marquez and Keyla M. Soto, all of Hartford, eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:00 am at Faith Temple Assembly of God, 993 Broad St., Hartford. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday evening from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the church.
