Paul Edward (Shemp) Suprenant

Paul Edward (Shemp) Suprenant, 44, of Berlin, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the Hospital of Central CT. Born in Germany, he was a lifelong Berlin resident. Paul was active in Boy Scouting as a member of Boy Scout Troop 44, and attained the rank of Eagle Scout. He was certified as an Emergency Medical Technician and was a past member of the Berlin Volunteer Fire Department. Surviving are his parents, Henry and Katherine (Danko) Suprenant of Berlin; a brother, Steven Suprenant of Berlin; a sister, Dawn Suprenant of Middletown; his grandmother, Ann Danko of Berlin; his former companion, Nancy Lapier of Berlin; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 13, at 9 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St. New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Paul Church. Burial will be in Wilcox Cemetery, East Berlin. Calling hours are Tuesday from 6-8 PM.
