Paul Zenon Beaulieu, 93, of New Britain, husband of Priscilla O. Beaulieu, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Hospital of Central CT. Born in New Canada, ME, he was the son of the late Honore Beaulieu and Odile (Pelletier) Beaulieu. He attended Fort Kent High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving state-side at the end of World War II. Paul moved to New Britain in 1953. He was a carpenter and home builder, and retired from Ouellette & Devins of West Hartford. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church and St. Jean Baptiste Society. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, gardening, playing cards and creating clever but practical things from wood. His fondest memories were of time spent with family and friends at the cabin in Brookfield, VT and traveling throughout New England, the United States and Canada with his wife as well as his brothers, sisters and daughters. Surviving are his wife, Priscilla (Ouellette) Beaulieu; two daughters, Nancy Ringrose and her husband John of New Britain, Sandra Cahill and her husband Michael of Suffield; a brother, Sylvio Beaulieu of Mooresville, NC; three sisters Mabeline Nadeau of Bristol, Theresa Dube of Tallahassee, FL, and Juliette Beaulieu of Lakeland, FL; and a grandson, Daniel P. Cahill of Enfield. He was predeceased by four brothers, Martin, Fred, Camille and Ross, and by two sisters, Aurore Bouchard and Jean St. Amand. The family would like to thank the Marlin Road neighbors whose support helped Paul continue to live at home during his last years. Special thanks to Lydia Mensah , CNA from Right at Home, who so lovingly cared for Paul 24/7 over the past few years, and to the staff of Apple Rehab of Farmington Valley for their loving care. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 10 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will be held privately in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, April 6, from 4-6 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.
